Are your services covered by insurance?

We are a private-pay practice, meaning we do not bill insurance directly. However, for therapy services, we can provide you with a document called a “superbill,” which may allow you to receive partial reimbursement from your insurance company—if you have out-of-network benefits.

Consulting, coaching, and groups are not eligible for insurance reimbursement.

What is a superbill—and why would I use one if I already have insurance?

A superbill is a detailed receipt for therapy services that you submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement under your out-of-network mental health benefits.

It includes: Your therapist’s credentials and NPI- Diagnostic and CPT billing codes- Session dates and fees

Why use a superbill?

Even if you have insurance, superbills give you more choice, privacy, and flexibility. You can:

Work with a provider that fits your needs—not just your network - Bypass session limits or restrictions keep your care private (we don’t share info with your insurer) - Possibly get reimbursed for part of your session cost - We provide superbills monthly or upon request and can guide you on how to submit them.

How do I find out if I have out-of-network coverage?

Call the customer service number on your insurance card and ask:

  • “Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?”

  • “What percentage of each session will you reimburse?”

  • “Do I need to meet a deductible first?”

  • “Are telehealth services covered?”

  • “Do I need a pre-authorization?”

Keep a pen handy—you’ll want to write down the rep’s name, reference number, and answers.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapy explores emotional healing, identity, trauma, and personal growth. It is a regulated clinical service often eligible for insurance reimbursement.

Coaching is future-focused, insight-oriented, and geared toward professional performance, burnout recovery, and clarity. It is not clinical, not billable to insurance, and is often used by professionals, creatives, and leaders.

Not sure what you need? We’ll help you decide during your consult.

Do you work with kids or families?

We work with teens ages 10+ in individual therapy, and we also offer parent-focused support through therapy and coaching. If you’re navigating co-parenting, divorce, or blended family stress, we can support that too.

How do I get started?

We offer free 15-minute consults to make sure we're a good fit. From there, you'll complete a brief intake form, and we'll get you scheduled for your first session or group.
